Woodville Syttende Mai Royalty Program welcomes BWHS Students who reside within the Village of Baldwin or the Village Woodville. Anyone interested has an opportunity to sign up in January to be a Candidate and then will compete for the title of Queen or King of Syttende Mai.
Syttende Mai Royalty will actively participate in events throughout their year on court. These events range from community service, volunteering within the community, parades, teas, coronations, Lion Club events, Chamber sponsored events, along with many other wonderful things.
The King/Queen receives a scholarship from the Woodville Lions Club of $1,000.00. He/she is also rewarded with a paid trip to St Paul Winter Carnival. The Royal Court receive a scholarship of $500.00 each.
We are very lucky to have the Woodville Lions Club who make it possible for this program to continue year after year. We thank them and the community of Baldwin and Woodville for the endless support every year!
